I have even more exciting news fresh off the heels of State Treasurer Fiona Ma’s endorsement last week. I’ve been endorsed by the California Nurses Association!
Having the support of our frontline nurses – the men and women who work tirelessly to deliver quality care for patients and who have sacrificed so much during the pandemic – is humbling. Their commitment to healthcare and the well-being of every Californian is something I value and something I will always fight for in the State Assembly.
I’m proud to have been the co-author of legislation to bring single-payer healthcare to our state, and while it’s a battle we are continuing to fight, I know CNA’s support is essential to making single-payer healthcare a reality for our families.
